What this is
A fast fix when new leads stop showing up in Global Control (GC). You’ll reconnect the Facebook link, give access to “all current and future pages,” send one live test lead, and confirm it lands in GC.
Why this happens
Permissions change. Tokens expire. A new page gets added and the tool doesn’t have access yet. The reconnect clears that up.
Before you start (30 seconds)
-
Know which Facebook Page your ad uses.
-
Have your Facebook login ready.
-
Pick an email for the test lead (use your own; add “+test” if you use Gmail).
Step 1 — Reconnect the Facebook link
-
In GC, open Integrations → Facebook (Meta).
-
Click Edit icon - Update Account.
-
When Facebook asks what it can access, choose “Allow access to all current and future pages.” This prevents breaks later when you add or switch pages.
-
Approve leads access and finish.
Step 2 — Confirm you can see the right page
Back on the integrations screen, you should see the page(s) you use for ads. If you don’t, repeat Step 1 and make sure “all current and future pages” is allowed.
Step 3 — Send one live test lead (1 minute)
-
Open your active lead ad and click through the form yourself, or briefly run a tiny test ad set you can fill out. Use your test email so you can search for it later.
-
Submit the form. Give it a moment to process.
Step 4 — Verify in GC
-
In GC, open your Subscribers/Contacts view.
-
Search for the test email. You should see the new contact.
-
Open the contact and check the source or tags to confirm it came from Facebook/Lead Ads (and the expected publication/workflow).
If the test lead didn’t arrive (quick fixes)
-
Reconnect again, and be sure you selected all current and future pages.
-
Pick the correct page during Facebook’s prompts (match the page used in the ad).
-
Refresh the GC page and wait 1–2 minutes.
-
Resend a fresh test (typos happen). Use a different test email to be sure.
-
Check page roles: your Facebook user needs permission on that page to grant lead access.
One-minute checklist (print this)
-
GC → Integrations → Facebook → Edit - Update account.
-
Allow all current and future pages.
-
Submit one live test lead through the form.
-
Search for it in GC and confirm the source.
