A great welcome email sets the tone. It says “you’re in the right place,” and it gives a reliable next step.
Start by putting your publication logo right at the top—centered, clean, and not oversized. It’s a tiny move that pays off days later when someone opens the email and thinks, “What’s this?” Your brand at the top answers the question in one glance.

Next, give them a path back to something alive. Every publication has a stable link to its latest issue:
Use that link in the welcome so you never have to update it. It always points to whatever you shipped most recently.
