SMTP Flexibility is Expanding

Chad confirmed that Elastic Email and SendGrid will be the next SMTP providers added to Global Control. This gives users more flexibility and avoids the restrictions some providers place on affiliate marketing and other high-volume use cases.

Avatar Redesign and Personalization

Chad is redesigning the AI avatar system in Letterman to match the more advanced setup in AI Bot Studio. This means you’ll soon be able to create custom avatars that capture a consistent voice, tone, and style for all your newsletters, just like you can for your bots. This should make it easier to keep your messaging on brand, whether you’re sending newsletters or running chatbots.

Dashboard Redesign for Better Stats

The Letterman dashboard is getting a facelift, making it easier to track your email performance without digging into individual messages. This means you’ll get a quicker snapshot of how your newsletters are doing, with all the key stats in one place.

AI Tools for Smarter Writing

Letterman is also integrating with advanced AI tools like Grok, Claude, and Gemini. This means you’ll be able to pull in real-time data and create smarter, more relevant newsletter content on the fly.

🔥 AI-Driven Ad Campaign Analysis

Chad confirmed that MintBird will soon feature AI-powered ad campaign analysis, pulling in data from Facebook Ad Manager to provide real-time feedback on what’s working and what needs to be fixed. This will help you understand why certain ads are performing well (or not), and how to optimize them for better results. This is a first step, but Chad hinted it could eventually expand to cover full funnel analysis.

"We're going to be pushing all the ad campaign data from MintBird into AI for real-time analysis. This means the AI will look at your CTR, creatives, funnel performance, and give you recommendations on what's working and what needs to be fixed." — Chad said in Friday Tech Call 5/9/25

🔥 AI Sales Pages in Development

MintBird is also working on AI-powered sales pages, where you can simply provide a few details, like the product name and URL, and the AI will build an entire landing page for you — complete with headlines, images, and sales copy. This could be a huge time-saver for marketers and product creators.

Conversion API for More Accurate Tracking

MintBird is also moving to a more accurate tracking system with Conversion API, which is designed to replace older, less reliable pixel tracking. This means you’ll get a clearer picture of what’s actually happening in your sales funnels, with fewer missed clicks and better ad optimization. 📱 Mobile + UI Improvements

The platform feels smoother because… it is.

New Video Platform Integrations

Course Sprout, the Titanium learning management system, just got a big upgrade. In addition to the existing YouTube and Vimeo integrations, Course Sprout now supports Gumlet and Adilo video hosting. This is great news for anyone who picked up lifetime deals on these platforms through AppSumo. If you’ve got videos hosted on Gumlet or Adilo, you can now use them in your Course Sprout courses without any extra steps.

🔮 What to Expect Next Week

 

Chad made it clear that the team is deep into the second week of their Letterman sprint, with a hard stop after week 3. This means we’re in the middle of a major push to polish and expand features like the new avatar system, smarter writing with AI integrations, and the cleaned-up dashboard. If you’re using Letterman, expect these changes to start coming together soon.

Also, the first phase of the AI ad campaign analysis for MintBird is on track for next week. This feature will start analyzing ad data from Facebook Ad Manager to provide real-time insights into what’s working and what needs to be fixed. It’s a big step toward more automated, data-driven marketing.

P.P.S. -  What’s a Pixel and Why Should You Care About Conversion API?

Pixels are little pieces of code that track what visitors do on your website or in your emails, like clicking a button or making a purchase. But they can be inconsistent because:
