Letterman is going mobile, so you can create and send newsletters from anywhere-no laptop required. ✅ Tag Integrations List Fix

When setting up integrations within a tag in Global Control, some platforms-like Mailgun and OpenAI-are incorrectly appearing as options in the Add Integrations tab. Mailgun and OpenAI are “specific integrations” that GC uses behind the scenes for core functions and should not be available for users to connect on the tag. Only “tag integrations” (such as autoresponder, CRM's, course platforms etc.) should be selectable. The team will filter out these internal "specific" integrations to prevent confusion.  This way only tag integrtations will be choices. 

"There's a little bit of confusion in tag integrations right now because some internal integrations like mailgun are showing up as available integrations when they shouldn't. That's a bug, and those internal ones will be removed from the list."

✅ BirdSend Integration Server Errors

There is an issue with the BirdSend integration in Global Control: server errors from BirdSend are preventing the integration from completing. Chad’s team is reaching out to BirdSend to resolve the problem.

"BirdSend, we're getting server errors back from them, so that's why the integration's not completing. We're reaching out to them to get that fixed."

✅ Server-Side Rendering for Newsletters and Pages

Letterman is moving to server-side rendering for newsletters and signup pages, improving load times, SEO, and providing a more robust, page-like experience.

"We want to go server side...we want to have it where it opens up like mintbird...like wordpress where it is an actual page..."

✅ Editor Improvements and Native “Fancy Box” Elements

The Letterman editor now lets users add section colors, border radii, and “fancy box” elements (customizable title boxes with images, colors, or gradients), all natively within the platform. Right now these section divider title boxes have to be created in Canva as images but soon  these can be native Letterman elements.

"You're probably already starting to see changes in the editor where we're letting you go and add colors now...I've already gone and laid out the fancy title boxes..."

✅ AI-Driven SEO Optimization for Local Newsletters

AI will soon analyze newsletter pages, identify the best keywords, and generate SEO-optimized titles to help local newsletters rank higher in search results.

"AI will just go and analyze your whole entire page...it'll determine what the best keywords are...it'll create an SEO optimized title for you..."

✅ Bug Fix: Published Newsletters To Be Sorted by Published Date

There’s currently a bug in Letterman’s published newsletters section: items are sorted by their creation date instead of their published date. The team is adding a published date field and updating the sorting so the most recently published newsletters appear first.

"The other thing that we're fixing is in the published section, it's currently sorted by the date created, not the published date. So we're going to add a published date and sort by that, with the most recent first."

✅ Mobile Newsletter Creatione

Letterman is being updated to allow users to create newsletters directly from their phones. This mobile-friendly feature will make it possible to quickly draft and send newsletters while on the go.

"And then the other thing that we're doing is we're making it so that you can actually create a newsletter from your phone. So if you're out and about, you just want to pull up your phone and you want to create a newsletter, you'll be able to do that.

✅ Bulk Bot Training via Training Center Overhaul

The Training Center is being rebuilt so you can upload a PDF or resource and instantly train multiple bots at once using bot tags, streamlining bulk training and content updates.

"I could take this pdf, throw it in there and...fire off a bot tag and it would go train all those bots at once..."

✅ Faster Tab Switching Through Database Optimization

AIBot Studio is undergoing significant database optimizations to improve performance. This means that moving between tabs and different sections within the app will be noticeably faster.

"The other thing that's taking place is there's a lot of optimization that's taking place with ai bot studio..."

✅ Easier Bot Connections from Messaging Channel

You can now directly connect business pages, WhatsApp, and Instagram accounts to bots from the messaging channel, making it easier to manage and switch connections without navigating through each bot individually.

"You can just go into the messaging channel, you can just click and you can add your bot right..."

✅ Voice Bot Coming to Web Pages

A voice bot feature will soon be available directly on web pages, similar to ChatGPT’s voice interface, enabling users to interact with bots via voice.

"We are going to put the voice bot on the actual web page..."

✅ Clone Bots and Select What Data Is Cloned

AI Bot Studio is adding a feature that allows users to clone bots. When cloning, you can choose exactly what gets copied-whether it’s the training data, integrations, settings, or just the bot structure itself.

"The other thing that we're adding is the ability to clone a bot and you can decide what you want to clone with it-do you want to clone the training, do you want to clone the integrations, do you want to clone the settings, or do you want to just clone the bot itself and nothing else."

✅  Google Integration Delays

Google’s strict approval process is delaying features like Gmail takeover and Google Calendar access. These are built but pending Google’s review and paid API inspection.

"We have currently two possibly three approvals waiting for Google...the ability for AIBot Studio to take over your gmail...our calendar system needs to access your Google calendar..."

Mintbird is developing an AI-powered bot that will analyze your ad campaign and funnel statistics, then tell you exactly what to fix for better results. You’ll also be able to run “what-if” scenarios-testing changes like new headlines or budgets-to see how they might impact your performance before making them live.

"We're working on a bot that will analyze your statistics and tell you what you need to do to fix an ad or a funnel. It'll even let you play what-if scenarios, like 'what if I change my headline?' or 'what if I increase my budget?'"

✅ SSL Problems Resolved-Report Any Remaining Issues for Quick Fixes

The Mintbird team has identified and resolved the SSL problems that were affecting some users. If you experience any remaining SSL issues, you’re encouraged to report them, as they can now be fixed quickly and easily.

"We figured out the SSL issue with Mintbird, so if you’re still having problems with SSL, let us know. It’s a quick fix now."

The development team is shifting from writing code to managing AI tools that generate code, aiming to reduce bugs and speed up development, while maintaining quality control.

"My developers are starting to get to the point where they're not doing code anymore they are managers that are running software and the software is building the code... the advantage we have by doing that is the developers know when something's not right... what it should mean is that there's less bugs because as we're running these tools these tools are finding these bugs and coming back saying would you like me to fix that for you..."
