🛠 Titanium Times – Issue #14 (Week of July 28 - August 1, 2025)

Faster paths from click to cash

This week is about closing loops:

Let Google find every page without a plug-in, let buyers pick their own price without three different products, and let Global Control shut off emails the instant a subscriber acts.

Less housekeeping, more selling.

Let’s dive in.

🔥 This Week’s Theme: Finish what you start

✅  Auto Site Map – Google crawls you daily

Each publication now publishes its own sitemap.xml.

Type yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml, save the file, and drop it in Google Search Console to speed indexing for every article, landing page, and archive.

“Our site map… is done. You’re gonna be able to go to each publication, download a site map… Google is gonna learn about your site automatically.”

✅  Footer Sponsor Bar – new revenue lane every scroll

A fixed bar tagged “This publication sponsored by” now rotates 10 logos on desktop, 5 on mobile (image 125 × 65 px).

Sponsors stay visible; you bank new dollars without touching content. Double arrow on the top right menu → Sponsors

“There’s going to be a bar at the bottom… ten spots on desktop, five on phone.”

✅  Coming Soon: Self-Referral Widget – cross-promote your own newsletters if you have multiple publications.

The swap widget will soon let you list your other newsletters on the confirmation page, sending fresh subscribers to every brand you own—no partner required.

“We’re gonna have it where it’s easy for you just to feed your own newsletters because they’re all right there…”

✅  Coming Soon: ShareBirdy - Contest Block – giveaways in one drag

The contest engine is almost wired into the newsletter footer, so you can run referral giveaways without leaving Letterman.

“Our contest software is going really, really well. And now we’re getting ready to pull it into the bottom of your newsletter.”

✅  Coming Soon: Send Again to Un-Opens – reclaim lazy eyeballs
A single toggle will resend an issue to subscribers who ignored the first send—perfect for weekend catch-ups or subject-line tests.

“Is there a way… to resend that to the people that didn’t open? We don’t have it yet.

✅  SMTP.com Preferred Provider – steadier inboxing & real humans

Add an SMTP.com key in Global Control → Integrations → Search for SMTP

Chad recommends SMTP.com because Mailgun kept suspending sub-users, and limits new user sending (probation). SMTP.com answers calls, handles delistings, and costs ~$25 vs $35.

No need to stop using Mailgun if it is working for you.

If you would like to use SMTP.com, please sign up using this link. This is Chad's affiliate link and it associates you under Chad's umbrella and affords potential enhanced support by SMTP.com.  SMTP.com wants to work with our group.

“We are preferencing SMTP… because of the support. It’s $25 versus $35… but you can still use Mailgun.”
“Mailgun does not wanna play nice with us… SMTP came back and said, we would love to hop on a call and understand your business.”

✅  Tip: Alternative Prices For a Single Product – sell three tiers from one product.

Stop cloning products just to offer Bronze-Silver-Gold options.

Open any product ▸ Advanced OptionsAlternative Price, name your tiers, add prices, and save.

On the page, drop a two-step order form, click the 💲 icon, flip Alt Prices on, and select your tiers (highlight the “Best Deal”). One page, clear choices, cleaner stats.

See the walkthrough segment below, from last Friday's Titanium Tech Call where Chad walked Stu through setting this up.

“See where it says alternative price? Click that… now you have silver, gold, and platinum… You have one product that has three different options—and you have one page.”

✅  Goal Step Stops a Workflow – end emails when the job’s done

Drag a Goal block to the bottom of any workflow and set the tag (e.g., Booked Call). The moment that tag fires, GC halts the nurture and can jump to your next sequence—no more “Sorry, we already booked” emails.

“Make an appointment… every single day until the goal at the bottom has been reached, which is the tag that says they made an appointment. At that point, they no longer get the emails.”

✅  Coming Soon: Re-Engagement Builder (beta) – rescue or remove silent leads.

A preset 15-day sequence will poke inactive contacts, tag the ones who click, and move the rest to a cleanup list while keeping deliverability high without manual exports.

“We built you a re-engagement system with the email, so after fifteen days…”

Coming Soon: Unsubscribe Categories – lose the complaint, keep the customer.

Readers will soon see topic-level unsubscribe links, letting them leave one campaign while staying on others—good-bye spam complaints, hello lifetime value.

“We’re also building out an unsubscribe category so they can opt out of certain things.”

🔥  Master the Minimum, Own the Maximum

Chad began the week with a contractor tale: he promised to finish in a day what others quoted a week, because he already knew the basics.

Mastering the minimum viable process keeps you from ever stalling.

He then mapped the bigger picture: a coast-to-coast network of local newsletters swapping free traffic, backed by tech that ranks every post automatically and sparks reader replies Google loves.

“I will learn the minimum viable process of everything… because I never want to be dependent on anybody.”

Why it matters: Skill depth lets you spot—and fix—bottlenecks before they cost you sales.

“If it’s costing you 30 cents to acquire a customer, why not swap with someone instead of paying Facebook?”

Why it matters: Internal swaps and (soon) self-referrals drop acquisition cost near zero.

“Google is gonna learn about your site automatically. That’s how you’re gonna start getting ranked.”

Why it matters: Automated sitemaps + schema turn every newsletter into long-tail search traffic.

🔮 What to Expect Next Week or Soon

  • Self-referral widget

  • Contest block in footer (ShareBirdy)

  • One-click resend to un-opens

  • Topic-level unsubscribe links

Challenge: Pick one tool above and finish the setup this week—then share the win in the Facebook group.

🖖 See you next week.

Real calls. Real updates. Zero guesswork.
