How does the database setup keep our current campaigns safe during the Letterman 2.0 rollout?
Logging into the new platform won't break anything because Letterman 1.0 and Letterman 2.0 connect to the exact same database.
They are simply two different front-end designs reading and writing the same live information.
If we make a change or edit a subscriber in one interface, it automatically updates in the other layout.
Having the two interfaces connected to the same database makes sure nothing breaks and our data stays safe.
We can log in and look around the fresh interface layout right now using our new Letterman 2.0 link.
Where can we report glitches or bugs found inside the new setup?
Our temporary WhatsApp Quality Control room is already open and available for community feedback.
The testing window mentioned on our live call has passed, meaning the group is active and ready for us to use right now.
We can share any layout snags or broken buttons we encounter by using the direct WhatsApp Quality Control room link.
Posting our findings helps the developers see what needs adjustment before the legacy system is officially gone.
Once the glitches are cleaned up, Chad plans to turn that chat room into a permanent space for sharing new campaign ideas.
What updates are the developers currently focused on behind the scenes?
Kofi is currently resolving an issue with the email queue and connecting our archived article data.
The team is putting new mailing technology in place because the email queue was our biggest source of system glitches.
Once all the kinks are worked out, this new software is going to dramatically reduce help desk tickets because the bugs from the previous version have been removed.
At the moment, our older articles are not showing up inside our new Letterman 2.0 accounts.
Moving that old information over is a bit of a challenge, but the team is working on getting the old articles hooked up with the new system as soon as possible.
