✅  Standalone Articles: Flexible Archiving, Search Visibility, and Built-In Lead Capture

The new Articles feature in Letterman lets you create standalone articles that are separate from your main newsletter issues.

When publishing an article, you can choose to add it to your public archive or leave it out. Even if you don’t archive it, the article is still live on the web and fully indexable—meaning it can be found and ranked by search engines and AI.

This is powerful for targeting trending topics or niche keywords that might not fit your regular newsletter. Every article page also includes a built-in newsletter subscribe link, so when visitors discover your content through search, they have a direct path to join your list. This turns every article into a potential subscriber funnel, giving you more ways to grow your audience and authority.

"You won't wanna add everything to your archives, right?... But even if it's not in the archive, it's still out there to be searched and found in search engines and AI and get ranked. When people access from searches, article pages will have subscribe links to newsletter."

✅  Newsletters vs. Articles: What’s the Difference?

Some people are confused about when to use a newsletter and when to use an article in Letterman. Here’s how it works:

  • Newsletters are emailed to your subscribers. They have different sections, like news, events, and updates. Each newsletter goes straight to your readers’ inboxes.

  • Articles are stand-alone web pages. They don’t get sent out by email unless you choose to feature them. Articles are great for topics that people might search for online, like local news, tips, or reviews. You might not want to put all these topics in your main newsletter, but you still want them to be found.

When someone finds your article through Google or another search engine, there will be a sign-up form right on the article page. This means you can turn readers into new newsletter subscribers, even if they never saw your email before.

"Newsletters are emailed and have various sections. Articles are stand alone pages that can be about things that people are searching for locally but that you wouldn’t necessarily put in the newsletter. When people read the articles, there will be a sign up form for the newsletter."

✅  SEO-Friendly Slugs for Newsletters

Now, when you share your newsletter’s web link, it’s much easier to read and helps your page show up in Google. Instead of a messy link like:

news. titaniumtimes. com / n / aser23asdf23r

your newsletter can have a clean, keyword-rich link like:

news. titaniumtimes. com /n / letterman-goes-server-side

Why this matters:

  • Easy to Read: Clean links look better and are easier for people to remember and share.

  • Better for Google: Search engines can tell what your page is about, so your newsletter can rank higher.

  • More Control: You can pick the words that show up in your link, so you can use your main topic or keyword.

"This up here is about to change... it will be separated by dashes just like this. And the reason why is because we wanna start being SEO friendly with our URLs and everything else, right?... And that's exactly what we're gonna do. So that's how your URLs will look next week. Like I said, we could have that update today."

✅  Coming Soon: New Chrome Extension: Content Grabber

A new Chrome plugin called Content Grabber is coming soon for Letterman! This tool will let you grab the title, images, and content from any web page you visit.

With just a click, you can “grab” the info, spin or rewrite it, and quickly create multiple Letterman articles to post in your newsletters or groups.

If you run more than one newsletter, you can use the same content and make each article unique for each group or page.

"Basically what's gonna happen guys, is when you're surfing the web and you see an article, you're gonna click something on the screen, uh, and it's a Chrome extension and it's just gonna go grab the URL, grab the image, grab all the copy, grab all that stuff. And what you're gonna be able to do is you're gonna be able to add it to your Chrome extension, where from there you'll be able to generate articles on the spot."

✅  Coming Next Week: Schema, SEO, and Sitemaps for Google Rankings

Letterman is getting a big SEO upgrade. The team is working on adding schema, better SEO tools, and sitemaps. These changes will help make sure your newsletter pages get found in Google and other search engines.

Chad pointed out that for local keywords, there’s almost no competition—so it’s a huge chance to get your newsletter seen by more people in your area.

"Not to get too complicated, but we're going into schema, we're going into site maps, we're going into auto pinging, we're going into just maxing out to do everything we can to make sure that your pages can be found in Google. And the reason why, um, is because we know there's a huge opportunity with local. Nobody's after your keywords, right?"

✅  Headline Combo Block Now Loads by Default

When you start a new newsletter in Letterman, the editor now automatically adds a “headline combo” block at the top. This block gives you a headline, a subheadline, an image, and a text area—all in one.

Most people use this layout to start their newsletter, so now it’s ready to go as soon as you open the editor. If you don’t want it, you can delete it and add your own blocks instead.  See the Headline Combo Demo below!

"There's gonna be a new block called headline combo, which is gonna have a headline, a sub headline, an image already turned on, and then there's gonna be a text element below it by default... And by default on your phone as well."

✅  SEO Section Now Auto-Fills from Your Content

When you start writing a newsletter or article in Letterman, there’s now a special SEO section. As you add your content, Letterman automatically fills in the SEO fields—like the title, description, and keywords—using what you actually write in your newsletter.

You don’t have to guess or fill these out yourself. This helps your newsletter get found on Google and other search engines, right from the start.

If you want, you can still change these fields to make them even better for search. But the system gives you a strong starting point, so you don’t have to do the work from scratch.

✅  Live Data Pulls Coming—Eventbrite, Real Estate, and More

Letterman is getting ready to bring in live data from other websites. Chad said they’re working on pulling in info like events from Eventbrite and real estate listings.

There are already 10 different data sources being tested right now. This means you’ll soon be able to add fresh, local info to your newsletters automatically, making them even more useful and interesting for your readers.

"We've been working heavily on third party APIs, like pulling in the weather, pulling in local real estate... There’s already 10 integrated in development."

✅  Optional Latest Articles Widget Coming to Archive Pages

Letterman archive pages will soon have a new feature: an optional widget that shows the latest articles.

This widget can be turned on or off, giving you control over how your archives look. It helps keep your archive pages fresh and engaging by automatically displaying recent articles, making it easier for readers to find new content.

"Next week, what you'll see is you'll see the ability to pull in your archives to this area as well... "

✅  Show Author Name and Social Links with a Switch

You can now display your author name and your social media links (like Facebook and Instagram) on your newsletter pages in Letterman.

There’s a simple switch to turn this on or off, so you can choose if you want readers to see who wrote the newsletter and how to connect with you on social. To set this up, just go to your publication settings, add your social profiles, and flip the switch.

"Does everybody know how to turn on your icons over here?... Every single publication, you come to your three dots and you come over here to social profiles... If you have these social profiles, they'll appear here... This name right here, this is another big thing, this name... If you come to publications and you edit your publication, there is an author name filled... Just go ahead and put your author name here, and that's what we'll pull in."

✅  Local Newsletter Hustle Training Coming Soon

A new training called "Local Newsletter Hustle" is coming out. If you’re not already part of the Mastermind, (Mastermind members already have it) Chad says you should definitely check it out.

This training will help you get started with local newsletters—even if you’re brand new. Once you’ve got your local newsletter going, you can use the same skills and tools to create niche newsletters about any topic you like.

"Local Newsletter Hustle is coming out. If not part of the mastermind should definitely check it out. Get started with local and then moving on to niche newsletters."

✅  Bug Fix: Can’t Add Categories After Deleting All in Links Section

There’s a bug in Letterman’s newsletter preview. If you delete all the categories in the links section, you can’t add any new categories after that.

The team knows about this and is working on a fix so you’ll always be able to add new categories, even if you remove them all.

✅  New Contest Software for Newsletters and Facebook Pages

Chad is building new contest software that works with your newsletters and your Facebook business pages.

The idea is to have a newsletter and a matching Facebook page, then use contests to get more subscribers and followers. You’ll be able to post articles and run contests right from your pages. This new strategy is designed to bring in a lot more engagement and help you grow your audience fast.

"But what we're doing right now with the contest referral thing, not just for the newsletter, but for your articles and for your communities... it's really good... it's the best idea I've ever came out with and it's gonna put you guys on the map like you've never seen before."

Bots Now Work on Mintbird Pages

There was a problem where AIBot Studio bots wouldn’t show up (embed) on Mintbird pages.  The team has fixed this issue, so now you can add your bots to Mintbird pages and they will work as expected.

"AIBot Studio - problem with getting bots embedded on mintbird pages is now fixed."

✅  Update: Still Not Fixed—Facebook Keeps Changing Things

Member Grabber is still having problems and isn’t working right now. Chad explained that this tool is tricky because it doesn’t use the official Facebook API. Instead, it works in a special way to grab members from Facebook groups.

Facebook keeps making changes which makes it hard for the team to keep Member Grabber working. Chad said they’ve made good progress and hope to have it working again soon.

✅  Fire Off a Pixel for Audience Building

Mintbird is now Meta approved for audiences. You can add a tracking pixel to any Mintbird page.

When people visit or buy, they’re added to your audience for retargeting and future ads. This helps you build a list of people who are interested in your offers, so you can market to them again on platforms like Facebook.

"Mintbird: now approved for audiences. You can now fire off a pixel on a page and have it in an audience.

✅  Instant Sales Notification Widget

Mintbird now has a new widget that pops up every time you make a sale. This means you get instant notifications right on your screen, so you always know when someone buys from you.

"Mintbird: now have a widget that pops up when you get a sale."

✅  SSL Error with Subdomains—Here’s the Workaround

Some users are getting SSL errors when trying to use subdomains on courseportal.io in Course Sprout. This means your site might show a security warning when people visit. The team is working on a fix.

For now, if you want your subdomain to work with SSL, you can use the same subdomain name on courseprout.com instead. This will let your site stay secure while they work on the main fix.

✅  Bug Fix: Some Client Sub-Accounts Not Getting the Right Access

When a Titanium Mastermind member adds a client as a sub-account in GC, the client’s GC account is showing up as “basic” (white) instead of “platinum.” This means the client can’t use all the email features they should have. The team knows about this problem and is working on a fix so new client sub-accounts will get the correct platinum access right away.

✅  Custom Domains Coming Next Week

If you use Quizforma, you’ll soon be able to set up your own custom domain name for your quizzes.

This means you can use your own website address instead of the default Quizforma link. Chad said this feature should be ready next week.

"Quizforma - Next week: custom domain names should be available."

🔥  Real People, Real Content, Real Community

AI is everywhere now, but Chad sees a big shift coming. He believes that as more content gets created by AI, people will start to lose trust in what they see online. Readers won’t know what’s real and what’s just made up.

That’s why Chad says the future belongs to those who build real connections and share real stories—not just content pumped out by a robot.

Chad’s vision is simple:...  👉 Read More... (in this Letterman Article)
