🛠 Titanium Times – Issue #22 (Week of September 22-26, 2025)

Big news this week: development is on fire with the announcement of a Course Sprout native mobile app and new Community feature.

Chad reminded us we should be publishing small articles all week, tagging every meaningful click, and letting those signals build segments we can actually use.

That loop turns a Friday (or publish day of your choice) send into a steady media engine.

In this issue you'll see how to land in the inbox, ship your issue in minutes, show social proof (coming soon), grow sister lists the right way, and move community into your own space.

🔥 Theme of the Week: Signals, not guesses.

People ask for help in public every day - plumbers, vets, roofers, you name it. RHM teaches you how to find those posts fast, leave one short, useful reply, and route the click so you get credit for the referral. It’s neighborly, it’s organized, and you can keep your paid lead ads running and use RHM alongside them as another way to bring people in. Buy now; training opens Oct 1, 2025.

Peek under the hood: Referral Harvesting Method

Get to the inbox: set up Postmaster and send steady

Google Postmaster Tools is your sender “report card.” It shows your domain reputation and spam rate so you can spot trouble early and keep landing in the inbox.

Connect your domain, check your grades weekly, and keep a steady rhythm of value sends.

If reputation dips, pause promos and rebuild with your community issue.

See the guide.

“Postmaster Tools is where you log in to see your grades… domain reputation… spam rate.”

“If you check the boxes, your newsletter will go to the inbox.”

Articles first, newsletter in minutes

Publish short articles during the week, then pull the best pieces into your issue on send day.

This spreads the work, gives Google time to index your posts, and drops your build time to minutes without losing quality.

See the guide.

“Now it should take five minutes… because you’re able to pull in the articles.”

“I want you down to minutes… become a publisher.”

Chad Demos Article Teasers

Show social proof in the issue (coming soon)

Readers will be able to like and comment on the article page before you send.

When you later pull that article into your newsletter from Article Cue, the current like + comment counts will appear on the article card at pull-time.

That gives skimmers a reason to click and join the discussion on your site. See how this will work.

“When you pull it into your newsletter… it’s gonna show how many likes and how many comments.”

“We’re gonna increase your CTR.”

Auto-subscribe between your publications (optional, live)

Feature an article from another publication you own. If a reader clicks it from the email, you can (optionally) auto-subscribe them to that source publication.

Use it where the match is obvious so cross-publication growth feels natural. See the guide.

“As long as that publication has the checkbox… when they click… I am now subscribed.”

Tag on click: build interest lists from article clicks

When someone clicks an article link, fire an interest tag (like INT-dogs) and a publication tag at that moment.

No survey needed. Later, send only to people who already clicked that topic.

“If somebody clicks it, boom, we assign two tags… interest and ‘inside the publication.’”

Community feed (MVP) + notifications (coming soon)

A simple, built-in feed lets your members post inside pods so you control the conversation.

Notifications and the universal app are being wired in so you don’t miss course or community updates.

✅ Switch SMTP to SMTP.com (recommended)

Mailgun has been rough for many. SMTP.com has better support and is friendly to legit affiliate links. If you use SMTP.com tracking, set the “Default Tracking Domain” correctly so links redirect as expected. Sign-up link: https://chadnicely.com/smtp

“We’ve had fewer issues on SMTP.com… support is personal and it’s friendly to our use cases.”

Here are some of the core ideas Chad shared with us this past week.  Sounded a little like a battle cry to me, so those are my words, not his. But, the ideas are all Chad :-)

Links to the guide below will take you to a long form exploration of these ideas.  Please reply back if you find this useful.

🔥 The Core Revelation: You’re sitting on a goldmine—start digging

Most of the value is trapped in your audience data, not the one-off send. The big miss is ignoring segmentation (especially tags). When you understand who’s clicking what, you can make focused offers and build a durable business. See the guide.

“You guys have a powerhouse that you can retire from… I want you to become a media company… publishers.”

🔥 Battle Cry #1: Become a media company, not a ‘newsletter creator’

Create short articles during the week. On send day, pull them in and ship in minutes. This builds a content library, earns search traffic, and makes multiple publications realistic.

Social proof is being wired in (coming soon): when you pull in an article, readers will see the live like/comment counts it earned on the article page, which boosts clicks back to your site. See the guide.

“Now it should take five minutes… because you’re able to pull in the articles.”

“How many likes… comments… when you open up your newsletter and they can see the likes and comments… We’re gonna increase your CTR.”

🔥 Battle Cry #2: Tag everything: let clicks build your best lists

Fire an interest tag on every meaningful link (e.g., INT-wine) and add a publication tag at the same time. That one click quietly tells you what the person cares about. so you can talk to the right segment later.

See the guide.

“If somebody clicks it, boom, we assign two tags… one identifies the person’s interest, another says they’re inside the publication.”

🔥 Battle Cry #2 (Applied): Turn interest into growth across your network

When you feature an article from another publication you own, you can (optionally) auto-subscribe a clicker to that source publication.

Use it where cross-promotion is a win. See the guide.

“If I had clicked that inside the email… I am now subscribed… as long as those publications have that little checkbox… ‘auto subscribe.’”

🔥 The Strategic Pivot: Declare independence from rented platforms

Move the community and conversation into your own ecosystem.

Course Sprout’s feed (MVP) is live inside pods, with notifications and the universal app in progress. The aim: control the channel, not the algorithm. See the guide.

“Everything that you can do inside of Facebook… expect that to happen over here… expect to see notifications… community notifications… admin notifications.”

“I’m no longer dependent on Facebook… I’m gonna get ’em inside the app.”

🔥 The Unsellable Advantage: Segments sponsors can’t say no to

Generic lists are weak. Segmented lists—built automatically by tagging clicks—are irresistible. That’s how you walk into a sponsor conversation with proof like: “I have 800 women here who’ve shown interest in gardening.” See the guide.

“Tags… will change everything… Not just a list… I got 800 women that are interested in gardening.”

🔮 What to Expect Next Week or Soon

On the horizon, we’re pushing the community all the way home. Course Sprout’s Community feed is live now, with notifications and the universal app on the way and a fully functional, in-app community is the goal. Finally... no longer at the mercy of Facebook.

Share Birdy is getting more love, too; looking forward to more details. Mastermind member, Jim Phillips, is already testing and putting it through its paces. Initial feedback is super positive.

OfferMint is slated to roll out to the Mastermind first. And MintBird is moving toward its Oct 21 launch, starting with the OfferMint in the pre-launch.

Fasten your seatbelts.  October is going to be a Titanium whirlwind!

🖖 See you next week.

Real calls. Real updates. Zero guesswork.
