Put a Button on It!

What a week! The big message from Chad was simple: "Put a Button on It!".

He launched a brand new call just to show everyone how to stop worrying about being "perfect" and just get their offers out fast, even if they're "imperfect" .

The new number one priority for Local Newsletter owners is to use this idea to get their ad money back right away . He even revealed a clever "Groupon hack" on the tech call to find winning local deals without having to talk to any business owners first.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Theme of the Week: "Put a Button on It" philosophy, a movement to conquer the "head monsters" of perfectionism and fear by launching an imperfect offer immediately, because getting that first sale is the only thing that truly "changes everything."

โœ… Put a Button on It: a 60-minute MVP you can sell today

Chad showed how to get unstuck fast: build a plain MintBird page, link a real order form, and publish inside the hour.

This gives you proof and a first sale, so you stop guessing and start improving with real signals.

Start small, then fix one thing tomorrow.

Read the full guide + 10-step script: Put a Button on It: a 60-minute MVP you can sell today ?

โ€œYou can fix broken. You canโ€™t fix a blank canvas.โ€

โ€œIf somebody clicks the button, itโ€™s gonna go to the order form.โ€

โ€œAwesome. All right. Well, that was easy.โ€

I came across  AICora this week It's from Abhi Dwivedi and it looks like a fit for anyone offering social media as a local service or just wanting to push our newsletter content to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more without extra grunt work.

You text it ideas or photos, it builds the post (images/videos + captions) and schedules/publishes across accounts. Could be handy if youโ€™re managing multiple clients or testing a โ€œdone-for-you socialโ€ offer. If you want to kick the tires, check out AICora here

โœ… Reimburse-your-ad-cost changed the local game

On the Local Newsletter Hour, Chad walked the math live. We are getting subscriber leads cheap, and the job of the thank-you page is to make back that dayโ€™s spend with a simple $17โ€“$27 offer.

Hit breakeven, then pour overage back into ads to scale the list. This flips the stress from โ€œI need sponsors firstโ€ to โ€œgrow the audience first, sponsors chase us later.โ€

See the $10/day math and thank-you page template to hit breakeven today.

โ€œWe are over here getting leads anywhere from 17 cents to like a dollar 25.โ€

โ€œYour only goal is to get back your traffic costโ€ฆ and anything above we put back into our ads.โ€

โœ… AI SEO is now wired into Letterman articles

On the Titanium Tech call, Chad said the AI SEO schema work is finalized. That means your articles are marked up for answer engines, not just blue-link SEO.

Expect your pieces to start showing in tools like ChatGPT and Claude as sources that answer questions.

Keep publishing, because structure now does the heavy lifting. The Entourage Sneak Peek echoed this early in the week.

Follow the plain-English checklist to make posts easy for assistants to cite.

โ€œWe finalized it this week for the AI SEO to take effectโ€ฆ itโ€™s giving answers, not results.โ€

โ€œYour articles are gonna beโ€ฆ found in like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity.โ€

โœ… Stack the opt-ins with co-registration so every lead becomes 3โ€“4

Also on the Local Newsletter Hour, Chad previewed the new Letterman widget. After a lead ads opt-in, the widget invites that same person to join three or four of your newsletters, like community, food, and a cause.

That takes a 28-cent lead and spreads it across multiple lists, so your effective cost per list drops to single-digit cents. This is how you build big audience fast without big budgets.

See exactly how to turn one signup into three lists

โ€œThis is going to be a little widget that opens up and it says, why donโ€™t you join my other newsletters?โ€

โ€œLetโ€™s take 28 divided by threeโ€ฆ youโ€™re getting subscribers for 9 cents to each one of these newsletters.โ€

โœ… Casper bundle as a working local offer pattern

In Local Newsletter Hour, the bundle format was used as the example to monetize right away.

Think โ€œover $500 in local value for a low ticket,โ€ positioned as a subscriber-only thank you on your thank-you page.

You do not need to overbuild this. One clean page, an obvious button, and a fair stack. This is the simplest way to reimburse yesterdayโ€™s ad spend and keep the growth flywheel moving.

โ€œWe value our subscribers. We cut this amazing deal for youโ€ฆ [even if] thatโ€™s an ugly page.โ€

โœ… Click-test โ€œGrouponโ€ deals before you pitch a local merchant

On the Titanium Tech call, Chad laid out a no-risk way to find winners.

Build a simple MintBird page with three or four local deals you found on Groupon. Put a tracking link on each โ€œbuyโ€ button that redirects to the real Groupon page. Make this your newsletter sign up Thank You page.

Watch which box gets the most clicks. Then walk into that winning business with proof of demand and offer to send them leads for a better rate than Groupon.

No guesswork up front, and you show up with data, not theory.

Use the 4-box page and tracking steps to find your cityโ€™s winner

โ€œI donโ€™t think I would do more than four offers on this pageโ€ฆ you can create a tracking link, like a PopLink, for your URL.โ€

People ask for help in public every day - plumbers, vets, roofers, you name it. RHM teaches you how to find those posts fast, leave one short, useful reply, and route the click so you get credit for the referral. Itโ€™s neighborly, itโ€™s organized, and you can keep your paid lead ads running and use RHM alongside them as another way to bring people in.

โœ… Global Control showed the dream: one purchase, everything fires

On the Titanium Tech call, we watched tags and workflows do the work.

A member purchase triggered access to Course Sprout, the Mastermind, and software bundles, plus the onboarding email sequence, all from one tag action.

That is the standard to copy in your own workflow so customers never get stuck.

Copy the simple tag map so access, emails, and welcomes fire automatically

โ€œThe minute you purchasedโ€ฆ member wouldโ€™ve fired offโ€ฆ you wouldโ€™ve been upgraded to Course Sproutโ€ฆ and put into this workflow.โ€

๐Ÿ”ฅ Stop Waiting and "Put a Button on It"

If there was one single message from Chad this week, it was loud and clear: "Put a Button on It!". He launched a brand new call just to show everyone how to stop worrying about being "perfect" and just get their offers out fast, even if they're "imperfect".

He called out the "head monsters" and fear that stop entrepreneurs from ever making a sale, saying we often blame tech when the real problem is just being scared to launch.

He applied this directly to the new newsletter strategy, stating that the #1 priority is to put a button on your thank-you page to make your ad money back right away.

This simple idea is the key to unlocking the new "Reimburse Your Ad Cost" model and could be the one thing holding you back. Want to know why Chad is so sure this is the only thing that matters?  Read the full story and find out how a simple button (on an unfinished page!) made him nearly $30,000.

๐Ÿ”ฎ What to Expect This Week or Soon

This week stays in motion. Put a Button On It comes back on Thursday at 2 PM Pacific, same purpose as launch week: publish a plain page with a real order form and notch a sale while the idea is fresh.

On Tuesday, Chad and Jim Phillips are teaming up for a focused training on setting up lead ads and communities. The aim is simple and practical: show how to drive leads for local businesses, the way Jimโ€™s been doing it in the wild, and lay out how that service turns into monthly retainers in the $400โ€“$700 range.

Keep an eye on Letterman as development continues; with the AI SEO schema work in place, short, direct posts that answer real questions become even more valuable. The co-registration widget remains in the pipeline, so this is the right week to define your sister newsletters and have your invites ready.

๐Ÿ–– See you next week.

Real calls. Real updates. Zero guesswork.

-Brian
